Abito

Wilma Silvestri is the founder of "Le Gallinnelle": she searches for vintage clothes in the markets of all the world and she learnt how to sew since she was a child, creating her own clothes and recycling old Forties-style dresses she could find in the markets.

In October 2009 she opened the shop Abito inside a restored part of the old "warehouse" in via Paniserna 61: in this shop she presents not only her own line, called "Le Gallinelle", but also the project "Confezioni Espresse", 20 handmade models to be realized with the material the customer chooses, very quickly, from 2 to 24 hours. She has also started a collaboration with Seoul Fashion Week, presenting creations of new young Korean designers.

The shop's cellar hosts her first collection of vintage chairs.

The old historic shop located in via del Boschetto has become "Le Gallinelle Studio", a workshop for new designers, as Valentina Bacci and Giorgio Maroni, who design and produce the line "C.A.M."
