Traditional Workshops Project

Our Traditional Workshops project, supervised by the Council of Rome city center, intends to save, protect and promote all the commercial activities which are an important part for the district and for the citizens’ everyday life: these workshops represent fundamental elements of the Roman  historical memory and precious pieces of culture and tradition.

Project's aim is to give higher visibility to those commercial activities which got the status of "traditional workshops", available only for who has the same kind of business in the same place for at least 40 years. The website presents every workshop in its own page, describing its history, its past and its present activity; every page also contains a photo gallery and information to reach the shop.
