Traffic Limitations and Car Parks in Monti

As in the rest of Rome city center, also in Monti car access is limited on certain days and at certain hours (if the car is not authorized). Access is checked electronically by cameras of the so-called ZTL checkpoints.

The position of these checkpoints is available on the map of Montieverywhere. Anyway, the area betwen via Merulana and Piazza San Giovanni in Laterano is not subjected to any limitations.

Car parks in Monti cost € 1,20 per hour, with the following facilitations:

€ 0,20 for 15 minutes
€ 4,00 for 8 hours
€ 70,00 for a whole month.
